Since 1912, your Chamber of Commerce has been a contributor to those changes that have improved Mesa’s economy and the members’ place in it. These changes may not have been dramatic, but they have been consistent. Through the organization, the voice of business has been persistent and insistent that business development must be paramount when community issues are addressed. Your Chamber has and continues to be, vigilant on behalf of its members when challenged by those who forget that it is a strong economy that creates a positive quality of life.

Northern Arizona Building Association, a non-profit trade association, is businesses and professionals united in building our communities. Originally established in 1973 as the Flagstaff League for Advancing Good Growth, Northern Arizona Home Builders Association was inducted into the National Association of Home Builders in 1979. In October of 2000, the association changed its name to Northern Arizona Building Association to better reflect its diverse membership, which encompasses not only residential, but also commercial, industrial, and remodeling markets. NABA is the only construction trade association in northern Arizona representing general contractors, subcontractors, developers, real estate professionals, suppliers, architects, engineers, mortgage companies, banks, design professionals and many other businesses. NABA was formed due to the growing concern about the impact of government regulation on the construction industry.
